NVIDIA has officially released an entry-level GPU for deskop, the GeForce RTX 3050. Previously RTX 3050 Desktop has been announced at CES 2022, and now NVIDIA has officially released it in the market.
The desktop version of the RTX 3050 has a CUDA core of 2560, a 1.78 GHz boost clock, a 1.55 GHz base clock, an 8 GB Memory GDDR6 and a 128-bit wide memory bus. The GPU also supports HDMI 2.1 as well as DisplayPort 1.4a for screens up to 4K 12-bit HDR 240 Hz with DSC.
The desktop version of the GeForce RTX 3050 GPU was released at an affordable SRP price of about $209.33. The recommended price is indeed very affordable compared to other series graphics cards, because this product is intended for gamers who have a limited budget. The product is also only available in OEM partner products, there is no Founder Edition model.
But again, it seems like this hope is hard to realize. This product is again difficult to find at normal prices according to the targeted SRP. On some global buying and selling sites such as BestBuy, this product is already "out of stock." This product is found on eBay but the price has soared higher than SRP.
Of course this is also not NVIDIA's fault, because inevitably economic laws are also finally in effect, where demand is high, then the market can increase prices. Then at that higher price, is it still worth buying? What do you think.
