Apple Airtag Tracker

Apple AirTag Tracker is an easy way to track your belongings. Put an AirTag in your lock, and put one in your backpack. That way, the items are tracked through the Find My app, which can also find your Apple device and connect with friends and family.

Sound and Find

Forgetting where to put things like wallets is no longer a big problem if the AirTag is already installed. You can unmute the built-in speaker by opening the New Items tab in the Find My app. If it's nearby, for example under the couch or in the next room, just follow the sound to find it.

Get help from hundreds of millions of friends online

When you leave something behind, like at the beach or the gym, the Find My network — with hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices around the world — helps track your AirTags. And it's designed to protect your privacy every step of the way.

How does it work?

AirTag emits a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the Find My network. This device sends your AirTag's location to iCloud — then you can open the Find My app to see it on a map. The whole process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. And because the process is efficient, you don't have to worry about your battery life or data usage.

Lost Mode makes finding items easier

Just like on other Apple devices, Lost Mode can be applied to AirTags. Then, when an AirTag is detected by a nearby device on the network, you'll be automatically notified. You can also set it up so that someone can get your contact info by tapping the AirTag on an NFC-enabled smartphone. It's the same technology used to make payments with mobile phones.

Apple's built-in privacy

Only you can see the location of your AirTag. Your location data and history are never stored in AirTag. The device that emits your AirTag location also remains anonymous, and the location data is encrypted at all times. So even Apple doesn't know the location of your AirTag or the identity of the device that helped find it.

AirTag is designed to prevent unwanted tracking. If someone else's AirTag is carried by you, your iPhone will detect it and send you a notification. After a while, if you still can't find it, the AirTag will make a sound so it can be found.

But don't worry if you're with friends who have AirTags or you're on a train with lots of people who have AirTags. The alert will only be triggered if the AirTag is separated from its owner.

Simple is beautiful

One-tap setup instantly connects AirTag with your iPhone or iPad. Enter a name for your AirTag, attach it to the item you want to track, and you're done. Want AirTag notifications on your Apple Watch too? No problem.

Long battery life

The AirTag is designed to last over a year with a standard battery that's easy to replace.1 And iPhone will let you know when it's time to replace the battery.

Splash resistant

For example, suppose you put a tag on your lock and accidentally drop it in a puddle. Or, the tag has been spilled. Take it easy. Your AirTag is waterproof.
